Arts Upper Hunter drives creative activity in the pursuit of cultural diversity and contemporary expression.

We do this through advocacy for the Arts on local, state and federal levels. We publish a monthly newsletter of activities and opportunities both inside and out of the area, assist artists and groups to access funding resources, provide support and referral services for local artists, are a point of contact for touring organisations, work closely with Local Government in the development of cultural opportunities, apply for funding and instigate projects within the area.

We are one of 13 Regional Arts Boards across the state of NSW, who come together through Regional Arts NSW. Through this we are connected to a broad network of skills and resources to assist in the promotion and implementation of arts and cultural practices.
