Our Role: To provide, support and promote opportunities for all people in the Upper Hunter to participate creatively in the lives of the communities they live in.

Venue: Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre

Cost: $10 adults, $5 concession.

 

Ten artists from Muswellbrook and beyond will talk about their work in writing, dance, theatre, photography, Aboriginal heritage and visual art with the aid of their projected images.

Elizabeth Birch from Aberdeen, is a creative crafter. She paints and dyes on glass, silk, and other fabrics, and creates stunning quilts, scarves and clothing apparel. She is available for commissions, exhibits and market stalls.

Youth Snaps 2013

Upper Hunter Community Services in partnership with Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre ran a four day photography workshop in late April called “Youth Snaps”. An exhibition of the participants’ works is on display at the Centre from 17 May to 14 July. Official Opening and Award Ceremony is on the 31 May.
