Upper Hunter Region

Scone Arts & Crafts -  a Road to Improvement a series of workshops in pastels, oils and watercolours. Culminating in an Exhibition.

The Gloucester Project - for Body meets Soul. Community members will participate in workshops run by Jean Spokes on how to create 3D garden art pieces that can be recreated in any home backyard, garden or rural setting. The work(s) will be practical and beautiful in keeping with the Tucker Garden Patch philosophy and goals of sustainability and preservation.

CB Alexander Foundation - Tocal Homestead for School Holiday Program - Drama Workshops and Performances for Young People. Two day drama workshops for primary and high school students as part of the winter cultural heritage school holiday program, which will build on recent successes in staging innovative community theatre amongst the buildings of Tocal Homestead heritage site.

Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council Inc (GACCI) for Garden Art Workshops. Three local artists will run three workshops using different mediums. All will feature artworks for the garden and be targeted at gardeners and indigenous youth.

Murrurundi Arts Council for David Taylor Watercolour Workshop. David Taylor an internationally acclaimed watercolourist who has exhibited and conducted workshops nationally and internationally for more than 25 years will conduct a watercolour workshop including studio and plein air painting in and around Murrurundi.

Sandy Hollow Public School P & C Association for NIDA Children’s Workshop. NIDA workshops in introductory acting and improvisation at Sandy Hollow for children aged 5 -12. There will two workshops and a public performance.

Singleton Public Library for Youth Writes! Two programs of creative writing workshops will be developed with a professional facilitator; one for youth, one for children. Each program will consist of six sessions and held at the Singleton Public Library over the Spring/Summer months of 2010. The project will support the establishment of a Young People's Writing Group in the area.

Singleton Writers Group for Write Edit Publish! Workshops for Writers. Two full-day workshops supporting active writers in the Singleton community will be hosted by the Singleton Writers Group, focusing on the topics of editing and publishing. The workshops will be held in September 2010 at the Singleton Public Library.
